Hallo,
seit 2 Tagen kommt aus meinem Drucker nur noch weisses Papier raus.
Ich habe das Gerät über USB angeschlossen. Es ist mit
Turboprint 2.09 installiert.
Bis vor 2 Tagen gab es kein Problem. Nach der Installation von
Turboprint funktionierte der Drucker einwandfrei.
Vorgestern dann kam zum 1. Mal nur weisses Papier raus.
Nachdem ich den Drucker gelöscht, und wieder neu konfiguriert hatte,
meldete mir das Betriebssystem Konfigurationsfehler: 6.
Gestern habe ich dann sowohl cups, als auch Turboprint, deinstalliert, und
neu installiert, aber das Papier bleibt weiss.
Egal aus welchem Programm, Turboprint startet sofort, und zeigt einen
Druckauftrag an, aber das Blatt bleibt weiss.
Seit gestern nun keine Fehlermeldungen mehr.
Ich weià an dieser Stelle nicht mehr weiter.
Gibt es evtl. eine Möglichkeit, den Druckertreiber aus Turboprint in
yast zu kopieren, und den Drucker über yast zu konfigurieren ?
Wo kann ich gegebenenfalls eine Fehlermeldung nachschauen ?
Mein Betriebssystem: Opensuse 11.1/KDE 3.5.10.

tut der Drucker so, als ob er druckt, aber es kommt nur keine Farbe auf das Papier? Oder werden beim Drucken einer Seite einfach mehrere Seiten hintereinander ausgeworfen?
Evtl. könnte der Drucker natürlich auch einfach defekt sein.
Sonst würde ich nochmals prüfen, ob auch tatsächlich der richtige Treiber in TurboPrint eingestellt worden ist, und ob bereits das Drucken der Testseite aus dem Kontrollzentrum fehlschlägt.

USB Drucker zu installieren.
AuÃerdem schon als Schnittstelle TP (Turboprint).
Mit beiden Treibern das gleiche Ergebnis.

Die Toolbox funktioniert. Ich kann den Tintenstand nachsehen,
sowie eine Reinigung durchführen.

es sieht so aus, als ob der Druckauftrag nicht vollständig bei TurboPrint ankommt - ein Fehler der evtl. im Postscript-Interpreter "Ghostscript" entsteht.
Haben Sie das System kurz vor Auftreten des Problems aktualisiert?
Sie könnten mir auch noch die Logdatei /var/log/cups/error_log nach einem Druckversuch senden, aufgrund der Länge am besten per E-Mail an
mail (at) zedonet (punkt) de
(at) und (punkt) bitte ersetzen

Ich habe mich heute dazu entschieden, dass Gerät zu verkaufen.
Nach vielen Ãberlegungen ist es für mich einfacher, ein Linux - geeignetes
Gerät zu haben.
SchlieÃlich gibt es bis jetzt immer noch keine Möglichkeit, mit dem Gerät
unter Linux zu scannen.
Ich hatte vorher bereits ein Gerät von Brother. Es war zwar schnell
verbraucht, konnte es aber wegen den eigenen Treibern im
Brother Solution Center besser mit Linux.
Man hat mir schon gleich nach dem Kauf von Canon abgeraten, da Canon
das Betriebssystem Linux überhaupt nicht unterstützt.
